Design Philosophy
LEMO FM draws inspiration from radios, featuring a design that emulates their appearance and functionality. Its skeuomorphic interface provides an authentic experience by incorporating sound and vibration feedback when interacting with the virtual radio buttons. While skeuomorphism is the defining visual element of LEMO FM, its underlying goal is simplicity and elegance.
Simulating Real Radio Experience
Pressing the sound button emits a satisfying mechanical shutter sound, marking the start of the white noise. This deliberate attention to detail immerses users in a ritualistic experience.
Breathing Light Effect
Subtle and soothing, the light on the sound button mimics the rhythmic pattern of human breathing. Though unobtrusive, this feature becomes more apparent with continued usage and can even serve as a meditation aid.
